Plaza Mariachi. Nashville hot spot for families

Family night out in Nashville.

Nashville friends, looking for a (an affordable) place to take the family this weekend?  Look no further than Plaza Mariachi.  Seriously, one of the neatest places we’ve been in a while.  As soon as you walk through the doors, you will experience live music, cirque du soleil ribbon dancers, TONS of food options, dessert and drink pop-ups and several little boutiques.  Seriously, fun for everyone.

One of my favorite things Plaza Mariachi has to offer is their authentic Mexican Market.  There you will find lots of affordable snacks, produce, and my personal favorite–Mexican Coca-Cola.  If you’ve ever been south of the border and you’ve tasted the Coca-Cola, you know it is so much sweeter than your average can of coke from Kroger.  I would definitely recommend getting a glass bottle of coke when you visit Plaza Mariachi.

The plaza also has TONS of food options.  Picture a mall food court, but with Mexican food–basically my idea of heaven!  Mexican street corn.  Paletas.  Need I say more?

Kids (and adults) will love Tito’s Playland it is basically Chuckee Cheese without the smelly feet.  We definitely dropped a few (or twenty)  bucks on game credits and had a blast.  Still trying to beat that basketball game high score… 🙂

Overall, Plaza Marichi is a great place to take the family for a fun night out.  It is a great place to go to get out of that nasty Tennessee heat this summer.
